EFE Code 3 Belfast Bristol RELLs (Production)

EFE Bristol RELLs in the process of being resprayed into Belfast Citybus livery. Apparent is the difference in application between the flat front and BET windscreen bodies.

Body shells are epoxy-primed from bare metal and sanded before being painted in the cream colour.

Due to the angles and contours around the front grille and headlights on this body style, it is nearly impossible for tape to remain stuck securely during the painting process. Therefore, some minor retouching work is done by hand.

The fully re-sprayed underframes are visible in the background.
